Summer's End

- chapter one -

This summer, We've dived into a sea of firsts, celebrated numerous wins, faced a handful of challenges, and said a few bittersweet goodbyes. Each of these moments has added a layer of strength, boldness, and a touch of fearless spirit to our journey. Who would've thought I'd be the one to take you on your very first rollercoaster ride? Watching the sunset, we painted the sky with burnt O-R-A-N-G-E and G-O-L-D, words to describe what we saw. While we missed out on ice cream this year, My hopes are sky-high for the next. I've learned that it's perfectly fine to embrace stillness, to savor each moment, and to take life at a leisurely pace. We've weathered those tough times, and I'm immensely grateful for the family and friends who've been there to support us. Aunts and uncles who build sandcastles and frolic in the waves, who patiently teach you how to bowl, and who step in to share moments, allowing me to catch my breath. Spending time with you this summer has been a profound lesson in letting go of what doesn't contribute to our growth while holding onto the things that bring us immense happiness. As the autumn breeze begins to embrace us, I know this season will soon become a cherished memory. But if I had to select just one moment to etch in my heart forever, it would undoubtedly be the moment your smile outshone even the summer sun.
